Itenerary (Day by Day)
Welcome to Tanzania and thanks for Choosing Alpine chat adventure a local tour company in Moshi Tanzania feel at home and enjoy, upon arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi about a 45-minute drive from the airport, Your Alpine chat adventure safari guide will meet you for briefing.
DAY 1 - MAASAI VILLAGE EXCURSION
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi and drive to Olpopongi Maasai villagespends your day and night in an authentic Maasai village and share 24 hours in this fascinating culture. Learn and experience the daily life of the Maasai children and adults, helping them with chores and other activities. Spend a unique and unforgettable evening at the campfire with a Maasai BBQ & traditional dancing ceremony before you find yourself sleeping on a comfortable cowhide bed or in a nearby lodge.
Overnight stay at Olpopongi Maasai Lodge.

DAY 2: OLPOPONGI MAASAI VILLAGETO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning,drive to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds. Migratory wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch. Late afternoon you will drive to the outskirts of the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for hot shower, dinner and overnight.
Overnight stay at Pembeni Rhotia lodge or Nsya lodge & Camp.

DAY 3 TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Today you drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti! Known to host most amazing wildlife spectacles on earth – the great migration over one million of wildebeest and zebra, gazelleheadingto and from Maasai Mara river and Ngorongoro Highlands search for fresh grass and water, other popular wild animals includethe big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino and many other predators cheetah,wild dog,jackal and hyena just few to name. Serengeti also inhabit over 350 species of birds both migratory and resident.. Enjoy awesome game drive and in the evening you will drive to the campsite for having shower, dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Awake to the bright orange sunrise over the Serengeti Plains and the sounds of wildlife around you. Spend a full day in the plains.

DAY 5 SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER
This morning, after enjoying a beautiful Serengeti sunrise, you’ll catch a glimpse of lions and other predators on their morning hunt during your game drive. After brunch, you’ll then leave the parkto Ngorongoro conservation;on your way you will have an option to visit Oldupai Gorge, a home to our earliest ancestors and the most famous archaeological site in East Africa. Thereafter enter into Ngorongoro conservation, one of Africa’s seven natural wonders! Before dinner is served, enjoy awesome views of the crater below.
Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Rhino lodge.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER
Today you’ll rise early in the morning to descend the 600m high walls to the floor of the crater and get up close with one of Africa’s seven natural wonders! Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is considered one of the most beautiful and unique places in Africa. Here you will find a haven of African wildlife with diversities of habitant with high chance of witness the endangered Rhino and other big five animals.Enjoy a game drive and lunch at the Hippo pool picnic site,late in the afternoon; you will drive up the Crater Rim to the campsite for hot shower, Dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: NGORONGORO CRATER TO LAKE MANYARA TO MOSHI
In the morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park; this is located within the Great Rift Valley.Upon your arrival to Manyara you will be welcomed by the Great Rift Valley Escarpment view and fun makers’ baboon at the entrance of Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara boasts a spectacular setting, famous for its tree-climbing lions and soda-ash Lake. Blessed with its forest habitat, harboring elephants, giraffes, baboons, blue monkeys and bushbuck, just to name a few. The park also provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants.You will enjoy a picnic lunch, and late afternoon; depart to Moshi where you will prepare for your flight back home or your journey to Zanzibar.

If recommended accommodation options are fully booked, Alpine chat adventure will reserve the clients in accommodation that is of comparable standards to those listed and notify the client. Supplemental charges apply for all lodge accommodations (standard, Luxury, exclusive) on the following dates: Jan 1, Easter weekend and December 24, 25, 26 and 31. The supplement fee varies for the different lodge options and will be added to the price if traveling on any of these dates.
