TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK & NGORONGORO CRATER – OVERVIEW

This safari itinerary is special for those with limited time but still wish to have a flavor of Tanzanian safari. Visit Tarangire national park and Ngorongoro crater. Witness Tanzania’s largest concentration of elephants at Tarangire national park, then get up close to one of Africa’s seven natural wonders – Ngorongoro crater.
DAY 0: ARRIVAL KILIMANJARO AIRPORT (JRO)
Upon arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be transferred to your hotel in Moshi, about a 45-minute drive from the airport, Your Alpine chat adventure safari guide will meet you for briefing.
DAY 1: MOSHI TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your Moshi hotel and driven to Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. The park’s sparse vegetation and dry riverbeds attract up to 300 elephants seeking water. You’ll also see migratory wildebeest, zebras, and buffalo around the shrinking lagoons. After a picnic lunch, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive. In the evening, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Crater’s outskirts for a hot shower, dinner, and overnight stay.

DAY 2: NGORONGORO CRATER TO MOSHI.
DAY 0: DEPARTURE TRANSFER KILIMANJARO AIRPORT (JRO).
Today you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro international airport for your flight back home.
