DAY 0: ARRIVAL KILIMANJARO AIRPORT (JRO)

DAY 1: MOSHI/ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large baobab trees and elephant herds. The park’s sparse vegetation attracts up to 300 elephants and various migratory animals like wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo. It is also home to rare species such as the Greater Kudu, Fringed-eared Oryx, and Ashy Starlings. After an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch, you’ll head to your accommodation for the evening.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE TO NGORONGORO CRATER

Today, you’ll begin with an early drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. The park’s landscape features Acacia woodlands and expansive swamps, with up to 300 elephants often seen searching for underground water. You might also encounter migratory wildebeest, zebras, and buffalo, as well as rare species like the kudu, Fringed-eared Oryx, and tree-climbing pythons. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch amidst this unique setting. Afterwards, you’ll head to Moshi to continue your journey to Zanzibar or return home. Meals provided: Breakfast & Lunch.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK.

In the morning, you’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, situated within the Great Rift Valley. The park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions and the picturesque soda-ash lake. Its forested habitat is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, baboons, blue monkeys, and bushbuck. Lake Manyara also offers an excellent introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife, with over 400 species, including pink flamingos along the shores. After a game drive, you’ll depart in the late afternoon to Moshi to prepare for your journey to Zanzibar or your trip back home. Meals provided: Breakfast and Lunch.

DAY 0: DEPARTURE TRANSFER KILIMANJARO AIRPORT (JRO).

Today you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro international airport for your flight back home.
