This safari itinerary is special for those with limited time but still wish to possess a taste of Tanzanian safari. Visit Lake Manyara national park and Tarangire park. Witness Tanzania’s largest concentration of elephants at Tarangire Park, then stands up close to Lake Manyara Park famous for its tree-climbing lions, Tanzania’s bird life with quite 400 species of birds, and soda-ash Lake.
DAY 0: ARRIVAL KILIMANJARO AIRPORT (JRO)
Thanks for selecting Alpine Chat Adventure local tour company in Moshi Tanzania feel at home and revel in your Africa adventure with us, upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha, a couple of 45-minute drive from the airport, Your Alpine chat adventure safari guide will meet you for briefing.
DAY 1: MOSHI TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Moshi/Arusha for a 3-hour drive to Lake Manyara Park. This park is known for its large colonies of water birds, including flamingos, cormorants, pelicans, and storks, with around 400 bird species in total. It’s also famous for tree-climbing lions and offers sightings of elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos. In the late afternoon, you’ll drive to the outskirts of Ngorongoro Crater. There, you’ll enjoy a hot shower, dinner, and an overnight stay.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO MOSHI.
Today, you’ll begin with an early drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. The park’s landscape features Acacia woodlands and expansive swamps, with up to 300 elephants often seen searching for underground water. You might also encounter migratory wildebeest, zebras, and buffalo, as well as rare species like the kudu, Fringed-eared Oryx, and tree-climbing pythons. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch amidst this unique setting. Afterwards, you’ll head to Moshi to continue your journey to Zanzibar or return home. Meals provided: Breakfast & Lunch.
DAY 0: DEPARTURE TRANSFER KILIMANJARO AIRPORT (JRO).
Today you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
